FIREWORKS

With Guy Fawkes Night around the corner, here's where to catch the best family friendly fireworks. With bigger and better displays than you could ever hope to put on yourself, its the safest option too.


Cookham Dean Bonfire and Fireworks Party - The Old Cricket Common - 2 Nov

Bonfire & fabulous firework display, with warming drinks and food. Opposite the Village Hall on the Old Cricket Common, from 5pm until 8pm

Lantern Procession ( Lanterns can be purchased on the night) at approximately 6:30

A  donation of £20 per family, payable on the night, is suggested.

Marlow Monster Fireworks Marlow Sports Club - 2 Nov

Gates open at 5.30pm. Arrive early to try lots of free sports, plus a delicious BBQ, local beers, fine wines and music by Dave the Disco. Browse the mini village with stalls selling food, glow products, balloons, and more! Tickets bought in advance Adults £8, Juniors (5-17 year olds) £4 each, children 0 to 4 enter for free. On gate prices are slightly higher. Book tickets here.


Windsor Greatest Show Fireworks Extravaganza, Windsor Racecourse - 2 Nov

Prepare to be entertained with extraordinary feats from skilled circus performers. Meanwhile the kids are sure to enjoy our very own funfair. Of course, you won't want to miss the grand finale... the incredible fireworks display. The fireworks are provided by the double award twinners of the British Fireworks Championship, the incredible display will be set to music making it a mesmerising spectacle.


Boyn Hill Cricket Club Fireworks Display, Maidenhead - 2 Nov

Gate opens 1pm; fireworks 7.30pm

With Carters Steam Fair, Experience the thrills of a bygone era and feast your senses: the rock’n’roll music, sumptuous colours, steam engines, twinkling lights, lilting fairground organ, the aroma of doughnuts, candy floss and coal. A fabulous family day out.


Marlow Bottom Fireworks Extravaganza at Burford School - 2 Nov

Burford School in Marlow Bottom will once again play host to the multi-award-winning Star Fireworks at Marlow Bottom Fireworks Extravaganza 2019 enjoy the side shows, bar, food, fire acts, and music. All hosted by Dave the Disco.

Gates open at 5.30pm. Fireworks will launch between 7pm and 8pm.

Prices in advance on website: Family (2+2) £20 / Adult £6 / Child (4-12) £5.

Rebellion Members get 10% off if buying form their shop.

Beaconsfield Cricket Club, Beaconsfield - 2 Nov

The Wycombe Swan’s Dick Whittington will be appearing (Love Island‘s Curtis Pritchard) with a quieter and shorter kids display at 5pm, followed at 7pm by the main event.


Phyllis Court, Henley - 3 Nov

A posh offering from Phyllis Court, a smart/casual dress code, with gourmet hot dogs and burgers, falafel shack with all the trimmings and toffee apple sundae with ginger nut crunch for pud. Gates open at 5pm.


Spectacular Evening of Fireworks at Danesfield House Hotel and Spa - 5 Nov

Danesfield House open their doors to families and local residents of Marlow, Henley and surrounding villages for the annual Fireworks Night celebrations. Join them for a spectacular evening of fireworks, hot snacks and children’s entertainment.

Gates open at 5:30 and the show begins at 7:15pm. £5 of every ticket sold goes to the Child Bereavement UK.  Tickets must be booked in advance as they are not available on the door.


Cookham Scout Group Annual Bonfire Night, Grove Island Odney - 9 Nov

Gates open 5.30pm,  Bonfire Lighting is at 6.00pm, fireworks at around 7.00pm. Hot dogs/refreshments, mulled wine.

Tickets £5 in advance and £7 on the night. Tickets are available from Countrystore, Village Hardware and Hillcrest Stores in Cookham from mid October.
